Second Stop: Lisbon

Carmo Convent

Hey guys! I'm sharing my photos of my 48 hours in Lisbon! My friend Nina invited me to come along her Portugal Adventure Trip which did not disappoint! I may or may not have missed my flight on my way to Portugal, leading to a crying American girl in the Amsterdam airport. No one said this semester was going to be easy. Fortunately, I was able to get on the next flight and make it to Lisbon without another problem. In Lisbon, we walked around the city, ate Cream Custer Puffs, and danced the night away! My all-time favorite activities to do in new cities is to go either to a cave or go to a church. Unfortunately, Lisbon did not have a cave that I could go to, but they did have a church without a roof! A convent which is one of the only buildings left standing during the 1755 Lisbon Earthquake is without a doubt one of the most amazing pieces of this city. My time was short in this great city, but I will definitely be back!
