Third Stop: Alvor!

Oh Alvor, you were amazing! Four days of a small fishing village, great weather, beautiful beaches, Sea Caves, and relaxation. This was exactly what I needed after a crazy couple days of traveling and being in a big city! I was able to go on a boat tour around to see Sea Caves, which included the amazing Benagil Cave! The boat stopped to let people off to swim, but I started to get sick so the stay at that beach was not very long.
Nina and I took a day trip to Lagos where we walked all the way to the Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse. It was about a two-mile walk uphill on a 90-degree day. It was well worth it in the end with incredible cliff views! Finishing up our time here we spend the last day on the beach soaking up the last bit of southern Europe! If you ever get to go to this region I highly recommend it! :)
