As my 5-month adventure starts, I decided to begin in Amsterdam to visit my very good friend Manon! It was a quick 2-day trip to see her as I continued my travels towards Spain! Walking around Amsterdam in summer is much better than February, the last time I was here.

On Sunday I ventured around the city and Vondelpark, then I was able to ride a bike around Amsterdam with Manon! This has been on my bucket list since meeting Manon. The last time I was here in 2015, it was cold and raining, not good weather to ride a bike in. I believe that my driving in the States made me a better defensive biker! We ate at cute little shops as well as went to Manon's favorite places around the city including Caffénation and Foufow Ramen!
